The Creative String Experience 1/2 Day Camps

This years Creative String Experience Camps will be showcasing a special Brazilian/Samba strings master class with Luis Mascaro. The instructors will be founders & creative directors Robert and Jacob who will be presenting the popular Violin Hero workshop (accessible to all string instruments), Motivic Development class and the Improvisors Guide to the Cello. Daily ensemble rehearsal coaching and sectionals will be included with Rob and Jacob leading.
Educational Philosophy
At String Project|LA we believe each student is an artist. We strive to offer every student an innovative and inspiring experience. We connect students with their passion for music by encouraging young people to create and perform styles of music that they are interested in playing. Classes at String Project | LA foster improvisational skills having our students play music they enjoy. We value and foster improvisational skills on violin, viola, cello & bass while encouraging teamwork and creative self-expression.
Our Alternative String Groups (ASG) are small 6-8 student classes that meet weekly for a year-round program filled with improvisation, rhythm & groove, rock
string playing, and more!
